Sullivan Brings Healthcare Bill to the People
Washington,
Nov 2 -
Today, Congressman John Sullivan announced that his office hand delivered copies of the latest 2,000 page healthcare proposal, H.R. 3962, the so called Affordable Healthcare for America Act, to two Tulsa City-County Library branches. Congressman Sullivan encourages any First District Residents who would like to read the legislation, and participate in the debate, to visit either of the locations listed below where copies are available.
“The latest version of the healthcare bill being debated in Congress is 2,000 pages long, creates 111 new government programs, and is chalked full of tax increases and government mandates. Simply put, this is major legislation that will have a direct impact on every Oklahoman, and I want every First District resident to have the opportunity to read the bill that Congress will be asked to vote on – all 2,000 pages of it.” said Sullivan.
